  Economy or Economics

  Pursuant to the reproduction theory and the set theory the concept is derived that throughout the historical development of mankind five consecutive main types forms of society have emerged (called by the author - forms of the support sector): consumption, economy, economics, market economy and financial market economy. They are interrelated in such away, that each consecutive historical form creates and supplements a new reproduction phase incorporating all the preceding ones. Thus the historical development is indirectly reflected in the rationale of each consecutive form of society. Therefore a new periodization of the material life in human development is proposed, involving five stages: non-economic consumption, non-economic economy, non-market economy, non-financial market economy and financial market economy. The concepts Economy and Economics are not identical, as economy is a wider concept than economics, which is only a particular case.

  Estimation of the specific features of the New Keynesian Doctrine, compared to other schools in modern macroeconomics

  Based on the analysis from the position of the New Keynesian approach of the critical literature and the publications of the New Keynesians, the principal distinctions are defined between their conceptions in the field of the macroeconomic theory and those of the „Old" Keynesians, Neo- and mainly New Classic economists, whose concept along with that of the New Keynesians is an integral part of the modern mainstream economics. The analysed distinctions are classified in three main lines - in methodological, conceptual and practical aspects. Summary and estimation of the critical notes of the New Keynesians in reference to the cardinal for the New Classic economists theories for the rational expectations and the real business cycle are completed. As a result of the accomplished comparative analysis some common conclusions and estimations for the added value of the New Keynesian doctrine to the development of the macroeconomics are suggested.

  SMWT - concept in the new management paradigm

  The key theoretical models are analyzed, identifying the main prerequisites, regularities and processes, in view of designing and functioning of highly-efficient Self-managed work teams (SMWT). On this basis a new integrated model for the perfect SMWT is elaborated. The team effectiveness factors are precisely outlined and the factors with an impact on the immediate results are analyzed. The multifaceted interconnections in the model are studied profoundly not only at the starting point, but also in the course of interaction, as well as the ways of striking a balance and the good teamwork of the staff. The target is to find a common theoretical and methodological basis, in order to incorporate the fundamental SMWT models. The effectiveness of the focused specific theories and models for SMWT implementation is proven in the social practice.

  Statistical estimate for unidimensional and multi-dimensional attributes, evaluated on the basis of questionnaire surveys data

  This article presents an approach suggested by the author for calculation of a standardized score for uni-dimensional and multi-dimensional attributes on the basis of data from questionnaire surveys. This standardized score is obtained as an unnamed quantity. There are no limitations for the utilization of the standardized score. It is applicable no matter what is the nature of the studied phenomena. The approach is based on a methodology developed by the author for quantitative evaluation of multi-dimensional attributes performed on the basis of measurements on uni-dimensional attributes at the units of observation in a studied population. The uni-dimensional attributes characterize the core components of the studied multi-dimensional attribute and are treated as a system characterizing the respective complex attribute.

  New assignments for the national scientific policy

  The current innovative scientific policy is taking into consideration an increasing scope of factors, as a result of the rapid development of the global economy and the growing criteria of the highly competitive European and global market environment. In order to be incorporated adequately in such an environment, this policy should be targeted to an organic integration between scientific and technological achievements, favorable business environment, applying a mix of efficient mutually synchronized tools - suitable state financial mechanisms and instruments; organization environment, adequate legal framework; appropriate business incentives package. The implementation of the scientific innovative policy is a unique challenge, because of being influenced firstly by the specific economic environment in the country as a result of the untraditional and too long transition, reflected in not quite successful restructuring of Bulgaria's economy and secondly by the main trends in European, defined in a number of documents - the Lisbon strategy, the targets from Barcelona for more investments in science, the concept on the European research space with the accompanying tools. Streamlined tasks are required in order to implement such innovative scientific policy, capable to guarantee a sustainable economic growth.

  This is a brief theoretical survey of the available promotion tools and their application in the contemporary trade business. The application of such tools is a priority for the corporate business and is of increasing importance for the growing number of business formats and sites. The trade techniques are used mainly as a discriminative factor for some trade marks and products in case of minor price differences.
